Hello!

What an amazing new world. Just two weeks ago, Rob and I closed out our 10 pm newscast and I headed home, fully expecting to return to work Sunday as usual. That plan changed just days later, January 30th, when my husband and I welcomed our son and first child into the world, Easton Lee.

Life as we knew it has completely changed!! For starters, I’ll be away from the anchor desk for the next two months to focus on being a Momma. In the meantime, I’ll be writing! I’ve started this blog, Anchor’s Away!, to keep in touch while I’m at home. I hope you enjoy my stories about our little man as he grows and changes, and whatever other random thoughts are on my mind each time I sit down at my computer. You’ve been warned!! 🙂

As I sign off, I MUST thank everyone–SO VERY MUCH–for the kind words, messages, emails and comments about our beautiful baby. My husband and I feel so incredibly blessed to not only have a healthy, happy baby boy in our lives, but to also have so many wonderful people to share in our happiness. To our family and friends, to our co-workers, and to so many amazing KETV viewers–THANK YOU!!
