  1. I still cannot bring myself to watch the 10pm newscast. Nothing against Julie and Rob but Brandi, you made me smile! Your quirkiness and constant smile is infectious and whether the volume was down or being in another room, just a glance in your direction would make me smile! The best of luck to you in your new endeavors. You made a very solid mark on our community

  2. Brandi, My grandma was Ruth Jones! She was beautiful inside and out! Funny thing is, she never told us grand kids she was the first Miss Nebraska. After she passed away, I found a suitcase with her crown, wardrobe and sash stating she was Miss Nebraska. There was a front page newspaper folded up on the suitcase with a picture of her on the back of a train waving goodbye. It said, ” There goes Miss Jones off to compete in Miss America”. The suitcase I was going through was the suitcase at her side in the newspaper photo! Talk about getting the chills!!!
Thank you for your blog post! You brought back great memories of a beautiful and wonderful lady!

  3. Nice job on Go! Omaha on YYRVW TV C0X channel 1013! Just saw it after recording it. Could not find anything on the show on the web. Too bad, worth watching. Good luck on it.
